Amateur Index FAQs
The Amateur Index, the Internet's ORIGINAL amateur link list had its humble beginnings as a list of bookmarks on a personal webpage using a Netcom account. It is now without a doubt the preeminent Amateur link list, there is no peer. The Amateur Index's primary purpose was to root out the best Amateur sites and share them with websurfers who love Amateurs. The Amateur Index has also become a source for real amateurs to get noticed on the Internet. ( like it or not the explosion of the Internet has created a lot of scams, and makes it more difficult for real amateurs to be noticed!)
Due to the recent explosion of Amateur Index copycat sites, ( which we feel are confusing the websurfer who is looking for quality amateurs) , we have implemented some new rules for getting listed on the Amateur Index.
1) As always Amateurs who we classify as exhibitionists will NOT be required to post an AI icon or link. ( of course it would be appreciated ;-) ) exhibitionists Amateurs are the amazing amateurs that just love to show of for the thrill, ( these are the girls that motivate us !) To be classified as this the site cannot have any money making options at all, this includes but is NOT limited pay sites, click through banners, phone sex, selling physical items, videos, etc... These sites are very rare, but the ones that exist we try to nurture, because they make the Internet what it is!
2) Individual Amateurs that we classify as Entrepreneurs. Running a website is expensive, (we know!) so some sites need to charge to help pay for expenses, some might even make some spending money. These endeavors can be selling videos, selling panties, photos, advertising for other adult websites etc. If you run a site like this to be listed on the Amateur Index it is REQUIRED that you post our Icon ( and link it to http://www.amateurindex.com) The icon must be in a high traffic area, and must be easily found. No more than 2 of these sites will be linked from any individual or company. ( This rule can be bent for special circumstances)
3) Websites that are a collection of amateur girls are considered Gallery sites. These sites must post the Amateur Index Icon, but will only be linked on the Best of The Rest.
4) The Amateur Index will NOT link any site if it contains more than 2 OTHER icons/links to other amateur link lists. ( This does NOT INCLUDE Persian Kitty) There must be at least 20 of them, and we are not going to list them, but due to surfer confusion we will only link sites that do not clutter and confusion surfers. We do not care which other sites you choose to link, but in the long run it will make the website better.
5) Many Amateurs want to know how they can become an Feature Amateur of the Week, a post Card Girl, or in the Showcase. These privileges are reserved for those Amateurs who are loyal to Amateur Index, ( they only link the amateur index) and who consistently send traffic over an extended time.
Also note, we do check our reciprocal links often and if there is any games being played links will be terminated with prejudice!
